Every Parent Video Series
Note: DVDs from the Every Parent Video Series are available for purchase by accredited Triple P Practitioners. We have included descriptions below to provide you with an overview of the materials used in implementing our various programs.
The Every Parent Video Series includes the fundamental DVD (Survival Guide) and three age-specific DVDs, each lasting about 50 minutes. The Survival Guide introduces causes of problem behavior, strategies for promoting children's development and managing misbehavior. The remaining videos cover the development and common difficulties experienced by parents of infants and toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary-school children. Clinical psychologist Professor Matt Sanders explains why children behave the way they do, and offers step-by-step solutions that are simple, sensible and easily adapted to meet a variety of family situations. The age-specific videos are best used after first understanding the general principles explained in the introductory video.
The DVDs are designed for both group settings and individual consultations. They are divided into sections that can be viewed separately or in a single viewing. Each DVD also includes a companion booklet to assist practitioners to use the DVDs to their full potential. These DVDs are a valuable professional tool to explain and demonstrate parenting advice that has been validated by extensive research.
